The recreation of an original tessellated design restores the verandah of this 1886 Victorian Italianate, heritage listed building in Ashfield, to it’s original splendour.

As part of Taylor Constructions’ facade restoration project, TTF was tasked with restoring and recreating this tessellated design, including the hand printed encaustic tiles.

TTF completed [this project] to an exceptional standard. The team carefully removed and replaced existing tiles on one of the balconies and also provided new tiles to match another two balconies. The finished product looks sensational and we were very happy with Carmelo, he had a professional approach to the project and was more than happy to adapt to the project conditions. Highly recommended!
